The Big Game is only a few days away, so it's time to throw caution (and calorie concerns) to the side for indulgent dishes. For Greek food, that means going heavy on the olive oil, and heavy on the flavor. Our own executive chef, Dimitri Moshovitis, whips these wings up for friends and family. Much like the dishes he's crafted for Cava Mezze,
these wings are sure to delight
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Chicken Wings
- 1/4 lb. Parsley
- 1 sprig Rosemary (just the leaves)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- Olive Oil
- 1 bottle Favorite Hot Sauce (pick one from Denver or North Carolina, if you're superstitious)
- 1 Cava Tzatziki for dipping
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 425*
- Combine all ingredients in a blender & puree until smooth
- Toss wings with olive oil (enough to coat, not enough to drown), salt and pepper
- Oven roast at 425* for 15 - 20 minutes
- Toss with favorite hot sauce, and dip in tzatziki from Cava!
