8/19/12 Scott The food was truly wonderful!! Everyone raved about the food and it really made the party very special. We could not be happier with Cava's. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that Kathy, the person you sent to help us, was awesome! I would not hesitate for a second to hire her again or recommend her. She was worth her weight in gold -- really efficient and really pleasant. I am certain that you know I over-ordered as you are really the expert. i can't help it -- it's genetic. 11/21/12 Hi Scott, I just wanted to THANK YOU for making our HR Leadership work retreat so special yesterday. Folks really enjoyed the lunch because it was a little out of the box for us at GW and the food was FABULOUS! I got A LOT of compliments on the food quality and I appreciate you helping me get an appropriate menu together. The packaging/presentation of the food was fantastic (and on-time!!!) and the man who set up and delivered the food was extremely professional and efficient. Kudos all around to Cava Catering!!!! I have eaten at Cava a few times (both in Clarendon and Capitol Hill) and loved the experience but will definitely keep in mind for future catering needs at GW! Everyone definitely enjoyed the entire meal package that you put together for us.  The birthday celebrants were both happy they made the right decision to go with CAVA.   All was pleased including the non-Greek eaters who really liked the mini gyro pita sandwiches.   The skewers, salad and fresh house made pita chips were very good.  The spanakopita was a hit!  Thank you so much, Scott (and your team) for a job well done. We really appreciated your thoughtful recommendations and last-minute help.  We also loved the guys!  Your team thought of everything – from helping our guests with coat check, to stocking the food and bar, to noticing that a cooler was leaking (disaster averted)!  They were very discrete and all of our guests felt comfortable. We had a blast last night. The food was outstanding. The staff was great - quiet, unassuming, on top of everything, nice, quick, I can't think of any more superlatives. And Gus was fabulous. I can't say enough. We have always loved your food, but last night was so amazing.  The sirloin was perfect! I was worried about it too. It's hard to cook something a few miles away and serve it perfectly off site, but it was all perfect and yummy. You were a pleasure to work with and made it so easy for me. Many, many thanks, Pam

People were so enamored of the appetizers and sandwiches they hardly got to the rest of the stuff!   But it's not a problem since everything was fantastic and we won't mind eating it for the next few days :) Gus was great in helping with the setup, too. Everything looked wonderful for when people arrived. One other thing I meant to mention - while I've been to Cava a few times I had not thought of you for catering until my good friend mentioned that you were a sponsor of the race she is coordinating for TLC in November. Thanks so much for the amazing food on Friday - it was a hit and huge success.  I think you may have some new customers – a lot of people said they are using you for their next event.  I made sure to tell everyone that you took my order so last minute - and that the customer service was so great.  Gus dropped off the food, put it in my oven for me, helped with quick table setup.  He even ran back to the restaurant to get us extra pitas.  He was super nice - and even offered to help me with some light bulbs that needed to be changed last minute! You guys rock! Admittedly I had not had Cava yet, but when some of my coworkers found out I was ordering from you guys, their eyes basically lit up and now I can see why. Everything went perfectly yesterday. Gus was absolutely awesome. So helpful from start to finish, helped set things up and get us up and running for a successful dinner. I was lucky enough to get the leftovers too :^)  but I will most certainly be going to the 8th St. location for dinners in the future! We had a wonderful time and the food was a HUGE success. Thanks to Gus's instructions the Gyros and the Chicken stayed moist well into the early morning hours. We ran out of the Gyros fairly quick. Two separate guests confessed that they had 7 a piece! We will definitely cater with Cava again. The quality of the food cannot be beat and the customer service provided is a lost art. We do cater a lot and we have never had a caterer who was just delivering the food take the time to explain how best to present and restock the buffet. I also appreciate the time you took in working with me on the menu. Your experience shined. Thank you for helping to make my husband's 40th birthday party a success. We will see you at your Rockville location or your upcoming Clarendon location. Cheers!

I have been meaning to email you for the past few weeks, but the holidays got in the way till today.  My building, Capitol Hill Tower, had a holiday party catered by the building's favorite 8th Street restaurant - Cava.  I just wanted to let you know that everyone was amazingly impressed by the food and service.  Gus was a superstar the entire evening.  Not only did the food get delivered and set up on time - he went above and beyond by helping with clean up, explaining what everything was to guests, and even trying to assist us with a finicky chocolate fountain.  He is an excellent ambassador for Cava Mezze and was great to have that evening.  Our building will definitely use your catering services again (as long as Gus is part of the package).  Thanks for making our holiday party a success.
